ART AT THE BOOK BARN The Philadelphia Calligraphy Society is displaying art at Baldwin's Bookbarn now through June 6th. Come and see the exhibit in Baldwin's parlor during normal business hours.
While the organization's name references "Philadelphia," its artists are from a much wider area. In addition to the Philadelphia five-county area, it has members from Lancaster and the Poconos to the Jersey shore. This show is featuring 70 works by many local artists.

BOOKS & BOOTS AT BRANDYWINE VALLEY ASSOCIATION
During the winter and early spring months, BVA-RCVA and Baldwin's Book Barn presented Books & Boots, a story time and adventure for children 3-5 years old featuring Potter the Otter.

 NEW BOOK BY LOCAL AUTHOR
"A True Yarn" is a book based on memoirs, letters, remembrances and recollections of a World War II veteran who served as a Merchant Marine and rose to master/captain of a U.S. Liberty ship. Written by Dan Cornwell and George Mershon, each of the stories within is based on fact and readable by anyone of any age. We at Baldwin's Book Barn call it "a well-written story that includes history and adventure."
